Saville Audio Visual Services contacted ErgoMounts in order to help them find a solution for a project they were working on for Coventry University.

Coventry Business School is one of the largest Business Schools in Europe and one of only a few in the UK accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing. To enhance opportunities for hands-on trading experience available to business students, the university decided to invest in a realistic, state-of-the-art Trading Floor Simulation Room. This incorporates the best analytical news and data platforms, including Bloomberg, Reuters, Datastream and Bankscope to help student simulate the experience of working in the financial sector.
Saville required a high quality dual screen desk mounting solution that could be mounted in a very restricted space. In order to maximise use of the room, workstations were positioned very close together with partitions surrounding the desk. After a consultation with an ErgoMounts technical expert our UltraView 400 Multi-Post through desk mount was considered the ideal solution.
Since installation, the Financial Trading Society at the university has been making full and regular use of the trading floor and the Finance Lab simulation has proved invaluable. Students are now able to test their skills and knowledge in a simulated marketplace without the risk of losing money. This provides a key learning experience and hands-on knowledge that would otherwise be hard to come by.
